Halal Fast Food in Karachi: Our Kitchen, Explained

When you order halal fast food in Karachi, you should not have to wonder what goes into it or where it is made. At Chipy the answer is simple. We are Halal Food Certified, our kitchen is Hygiene and Food Safety Certified, and everything on our food menu is made in our own kitchen at Maskan Chowrangi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Here is what that means for every burger, wrap and box of fries.
Halal Food Certified
Chipy is Halal Food Certified: every ingredient and every preparation method meets halal standards, for every dish on the menu, from a smash burger to a dip. Certificate details are confidential, but our team is always happy to answer any question at the counter.
Made in our own kitchen
Everything on our food menu is made in-house. Every beef patty is smashed fresh to order, so it gets a hard sear on the edge. Every sauce, from garlic mayo to Hulk, Korean and dynamite, is made in our own kitchen rather than poured from a supplier's bottle; our Chipy sauce guide lists them all. The only things we do not make ourselves are bottled soft drinks. We make our own drinks in-house too, served fresh when you eat at Chipy or take away from the counter; they are not available for delivery.
Hygiene and food safety
Our kitchen is Hygiene and Food Safety Certified, and those standards are maintained every day. Every order is cooked fresh and made the same way, whether you order at 6 PM or at 3 AM.
Licensed from day one
Chipy was founded in 2024 by three partners from very different careers: multinational FMCG, IT and cybersecurity, and the food business. Before opening, they spent about six months researching and testing recipes. Chipy opened in December 2024, fully licensed and registered under Pakistani law from day one.
