Our Story

Chipy was founded in 2024 by three partners who each walked in from a completely different career — multinational FMCG, IT and cybersecurity, and one founder already rooted in the food business since 2017 with a background in IT operations. What brought them together was a shared conviction: Karachi's late-night food scene deserved better than reheated, cost-cut fast food. So they pooled their savings and their professional discipline into roughly six months of hands-on recipe research and testing — and opened Chipy's doors in December 2024, in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, fully licensed and registered in accordance with Pakistani law from day one.

Those six months of R&D are exactly why Chipy's menu doesn't taste like everyone else's. Rather than copying what was already on the market, the founders built original flavour combinations from scratch across five core lines — Beef Smash, Chicken Fillet, Zinger, and Shawarma & Wraps — each one blending the familiar comfort of a classic sandwich with house-made sauces and ingredient pairings you won't find down the street. The fries menu got the same treatment, arriving in several flavoured variations instead of one plain option, and for anyone craving more than a handheld, Chipy's Rice Bowls serve up a genuinely gigantic portion of flavoured "bomb rice," layered with sauces and fresh vegetables.

The mission has stayed exactly as simple as it was on day one: pile on the flavour without piling on the price. While most kitchens in Gulshan-e-Iqbal wind down before midnight, Chipy is just getting into its rhythm — smashing patties, rolling wraps, and dropping fresh-cut fries into the fryer all the way until 4 AM.

The name on the menu says it best: "Our food is too delicious. Order as much as you can." It's a joke, but it's also a promise — every order is built the same way whether it's your first visit at 5 PM or your fourth 2 AM run this month.
